Basketball is a sport that reaches all age groups and has above-average relevance among young people. 39% of fans are between 18 and 39 years old (vs. 32% German average in this cohort). 36% of fans are 40 to 59 years old and 25% are 60 years or older. Basketball is particularly popular with men: 70% of fans are male.
