This includes in particular the creation of playlists for perimeter advertising, a previously time-consuming and manual after-sales process. Generating playlists for KSCs perimeter boards was particularly time-consuming due to changing creatives from match day to match day. With GIPEDO’s AI-based playlist builder, playlists for the match day are created at the touch of a button and are exported in a compatible playout system format.
KSC partners can easily upload their creative files via an upload link. Allowing KSC to centrally manage creatives in one location. The technical specifications of the creative files are automatically checked during the upload. KSC can preview creatives in the Workspace and approve them with a single click. Additionally automatic reminders for missing creatives ensure that all files are submitted on time.

Following the extensive renovation of BBBank Wildpark in 2023, KSC plays in one of the most modern stadiums in Europe. The state-of-the-art LED perimeter board system integrates brands prominently into live TV and highlights, achieved by a 1.20 metre high perimeter board in the front row and a complete second row on touchline and goalline.
SUCCESSFUL MARKETING VIA GIPEDO MARKETPLACE
In the 23/24 season, perimeter board inventory was already successfully marketed via GIPEDO Marketplace. Campaigns by brands achieved an impressive 2.1 million live TV impressions per minute during home matches at BBBank Wildpark. ABOUT FOUNDERS OF GIPEDO
Lars Gantenberg moved to Transfermarkt, a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE, in 2018 after 10 years in sports marketing at SPORTFIVE. As managing director, he was responsible for marketing, sales, strategy, and finance, driving the internationalization and global growth of the football portal. He conceived GIPEDO during his Global Executive MBA program at EADA Business School Barcelona and HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
Dr. Matthias Rettenmeier has been developing data-driven software products for over 15 years, starting with data compression at the Fraunhofer Institute (SCAI). His entry into the startup Metrigo led him to Hamburg, where he developed technology for determining bid prices for real-time advertising auctions. After Metrigo was acquired by Zalando in 2014, he worked as Chief Data Scientist for Zalando's subsidiary ZMS. After successfully completing the integration, he was ready for something new, leading to the creation of GIPEDO.
