(Junior) Business Operations Manager (f/m/d)
Full-time - Starts Immediately - Hamburg
You’ll be part of our rapidly growing team, responsible for building and scaling our two core products: GIPEDO Workspace for Clubs and GIPEDO Campaign Manager for Advertisers.
We are GIPEDO, a Hamburg-based sports tech startup building the ecosystem for data-driven sports marketing. Our platform connects professional clubs and advertisers, enabling scalable, in-content advertising designed to accelerate growth in pro sports. As part of our cross-functional team of marketing and tech experts, you will take ownership of campaigns, customer journeys, and help shape how our platform evolves with every client interaction.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for business operations and campaign management. This includes (amongst others):
Main point of contact for product-related questions, operational support and partnership development, acting as the central interface between brands/agencies, clubs and our business units
Work closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product to further develop our platform by translating user feedback, operational insights and campaign learnings into concrete improvements
Manage and monitor the full campaign booking lifecycle on our platform, from campaign planning to execution, ensuring the best results for our users
Drive and operationally lead the implementation and use of GIPEDO services for clubs including onboarding, account setup and daily operations
Continuously review internal processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements for scalable operations.
Must-haves:
A proactive, structured working style with strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
Excellent communication skills to coordinate complex processes
Strong understanding of processes, systems, and SaaS environments (cloud-based tools)
Analytical skills with a data-driven mindset for evaluation and optimization
Strong problem-solving skills in both operational and technical contexts
High attention to detail and strong quality awareness
Fluency in German and English, additional languages are strongly preferred
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in marketing, media, or agency environments
Experience in the marketing industry
Experience with campaign analytics, CRM tools, or marketing software
Nerdy curiosity when it comes to technology
A passion for sport and media
